Dr. Phil Lou is an high tech and golf industry expert with more than 20 years of experience. Dr. Lou has been involved with golf in course management/brokerage services, managing PGA Tour players, providing hospitality management and involved with golf tech ventures.
Prior to founding Synergy Golf Management, Dr. Lou has worked for Applied Materials, the largest semiconductor equipment company, for many years in technology and business management/business development. His contribution in technology especially in Cu and Low k has led to multiple patents and publications and enabled consumers to enjoy faster electronic gadgets such as smart phones, PCs, and TVs. Dr. Lou successfullly managed over $100M accounts with major semiconductor manufacturers while at Applied Materials in business management group.
Dr. Lou earned his Ph.D. in Physics from University at Albany - State University of New York working on CVD Cu (Chemical Vapor Deposition of Copper Interconnect) under the guidance of Dr. Alain Kaloyeros, industry renowned CEO of UAlbany's NanoCollege.
Dr. Lou is also a licensed real estate broker for golf course transactions. He is a trilingual - English, Korean and Chinese.
Kristy Park is an golf industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience. Kristy was the first Asian female to earn PGA Class A and LPGA Class A memberships.
Kristy has managed and brokered multiple golf courses, managed PGA Tour players for invited tournaments, provided thousands of golf lessons to juniors, adults, and celebrities, and was the #1 golf column writer for Korea Economic Daily.
Kristy's junior golf student, Gunn Yang, won 2014 US Amateur Championship.
Kristy Park has B.S. degree from Pepperdine University in Advertising in 1992. Kristy also holds real estate license for golf course transactions and properties.
She is a bilingual - English and Korean.
